Bersatu expels 17 members including Hamzah, four MPs and two assemblymen


PETALING JAYA: The disciplinary board of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) has expelled 17 party members, including four Members of Parliament and two state assemblymen, for alleged sabotage of the party. A confirmed list of expelled members was issued on Friday (Feb 13) notifying that the board has received a written complaint from a Bersatu member against the 17 members. "In this regard, the disciplinary board has carried out its duties under the Bersatu disciplinary case management procedures on Feb 12 and subsequently made decisions in accordance with the provisions of Clause 22.5 of the Bersatu Constitution," disciplinary board chairman Datuk Mohd Radzi Manan said. Another 11 party members were also expelled on Friday (Feb 13).
