The Calgary Stampeders offensive line is starting to come together. On Wednesday morning, the Stamps announced they’d re-signed guard Shane Bergman for two more seasons, locking in a Canadian veteran who was in contention for an all-star spot last season. Playing alongside Derek Dennis on the left side of the Stamps o-line last season, Bergman started all 18 games and played a big role in helping the Stampeders allow the fewest sacks in the CFL, with 27. For the Stamps, Bergman is the second offensive lineman to put pen-to-paper on a new contract in the past couple days after Brad Erdos re-signed with the team over the weekend. Bergman is a key part of that, having played 76 career games over six seasons with the Stamps since being drafted by the team in 2013.daustin@postmedia.comwww.twitter.com/DannyAustin_9
