Within two minutes of play, Striker Derreck Sasraku quickly capitalised on a defensive mix-up and double the scoreline for Aduana Stars in the 26th minute. The highly patronised match was organised by the Ghana Football Association with support from the Patron of Aduana Stars to coronate the 2016/2017 Ghana Premier league (GPL) champions. After recess, Chelsea FC exhibited brilliant performance and mounted pressure on the homesters. ADVERTISEMENTIn the 51st minute, Striker Stephen Baffour took advantage of a defensive mix up by All Star's and scored a consolation goal for Chelsea.
