The Bengaluru Police arrested six drug peddlers in connection with two different cases in Mico Layout and Rajarajeshwarinagar over the weekend. Notorious drug peddler Venkata Suryanarayana Raju (30), who was evading the police since the last one year, fell into a trap set by the police in Mico Layout. Raju, who hailed from Andhra Pradesh, procured ganja from Odisha and sold it to students through his network. In the second case, 5 people were arrested for selling ganja near BEML Layout in Rajarajeshwarinagar. The accused Purushottama, Tekaram, Kalimuttu, Ravo and Govind Prasad allegedly sold ganja to college students on Mysuru Road.
