Alex Hales has been banned for six matches, but after missing two games already the remaining four matches are suspended for 12 months. And it it because of those matches missed that Stokes is clear to continue his career with immediate effect. Stokes said: “Everyone will now be aware that the CDC disciplinary proceedings have now concluded and I accept the decision of the panel. “Although the disciplinary process is now over, I have learnt lessons that will stay with me for much longer." Stokes was found not guilty of affray in a unanimous verdict following a late night punch-up where two men were knocked unconscious.
