As sportspeople we have to deal with plenty of disappointment, and this felt like another cruel blow, so I know I wasn’t great to be around for a while. A couple of weeks with the kids and you can’t help but have a happier outlook on things. After this year though, I do look forward to playing a full part again at some point in the future.
