DALLAS — A year ago, the injured Jay Beagle could only sit at home and watch it all unravel. Nine players who endured a 6-2 drubbing in Minnesota to end the first trip that month are no longer on the club roster. This six-game trip is loaded with land mines and even one or two missteps could see it blow up in their faces. “That’s something throughout my whole career that’s been a staple,” stressed the 34-year-old Beagle. It’s just that Beagle and the injured Sutter and Tyler Motte excel in those tough roles.
