Beloved family dog Lola found dead in South CanterburyDOUG FIELD/STUFF Lola the missing dog, has been found dead. A missing 15-month-old rottweiler who became the focus of a large search, and a $4000 reward, has been found dead. Temuka resident Rosie Jordan lost her beloved family pet, Lola, on July 2, after dropping her at a friend's house in Waitohi while she was at work. However, Jordan said on Monday she learnt at the weekend Lola was shot due to being on a farming property near where she went missing. Since Lola went missing Jordan, and her family, had spent hours searching for the dog, walking through farm land and approaching farmers in the area.
