MANILA, Philippines — Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte has formed a task force to comply with the second round of road clearing operations set to start today. Belmonte created the Quezon City Task Force Road Clearing 2.0, which is directly under her office. Belmonte said she wanted to make sure that the gains of the road clearing operations would be sustained. The task force is tasked to monitor the road clearing operations at the barangay level, as well as craft strategies to ensure the compliance and cooperation of barangay officials. Quezon City obtained a score of medium compliance during the first round of road clearing operations.
