Raul Daza stood to applaud the Prez who mentioned the Bells in his state of the nation address last year. “The bells, like a 16th-century Buddhist temple bell taken by US Marines from Okinawa 45 years ago and returned to Japan in April 1992, belong in Balangiga (why not replace them with replicas in Warren?) Digong’s tilt to awakened China might also have helped convince the US to return the bells. We can all be Warays, like Digong, who we owe, big-time, for the return of the bells.
