With Rajinikanth returning as Chitti, this time it will be Akshay Kumar playing the prime nemesis to Thalaiva's character. Akshay usually charges a hefty sum for his Bollywood outings too, along with a percentage of the film's profits. We hear that the makers made a hefty sum to get Akki on board as the villain for the sequel.. Talks didn't materialise and when they discussed it with Akshay, they needed someone immediately to begin shoots and they agreed to all his demands."
