Beijing's Haidian district authority announced on Saturday that Yuquandong commodities trading market will be temporarily closed starting from today, after an asymptomatic coronavirus case was found from the market, China Daily reports. The market in Beijing's northwestern Haidian district, sells various daily commodities including clothes, stationery and fruits and vegetables. Early this morning, Beijing temporarily closed the Xinfadi wholesale market for agricultural products in Fengtai, in response to new local cases emerging in the capital city over the past two days. Beijing reported a locally inected man on Thursday, after reporting zero new domestic cases for 55 consecutive days as of Wednesday. The patient, a native Beijing man, was sent to Beijing Ditan hospital, a designated hospital, while two close contacts, both of whom are his family members, have been put under medical observation, the Beijing health authority announced at a press conference.
