On Tuesday, Beijing officials said the capital cleared all its domestically transmitted coronavirus cases as the last patient was discharged from hospital on Monday, Xinhua reported. No new confirmed patients, suspected cases and asymptomatic cases were reported in the Chinese capital on Monday, according to Beijing Municipal Health Commission. The new case occurred after the capital city saw no new locally transmitted cases for 56 consecutive days.
