Projec­ts includ­e water supply scheme­s for Thandi­yani, Changl­a Gali, Ayubia and Khanas­purMIRANMSHAH / ABBOTTABAD: Galiyat Development Authority (GDA) is initiating new schemes and development projects in Galiyat Region. “This year GDA will start new projects for improving the civic amenities service delivery, beautification of the region and promotion of tourism,” said GDA Director General Raza Ali Habib while talking to The Express Tribune. The projects include water supply schemes for Thandiyani, Changla Gali, Ayubia, Khanaspur, outsourcing of state-owned rest houses, installing camping pods at Changla Gali and Khanaspur, establishing parks at Changa Gali, Khaira Gali and Ayubia. Moreover, GDA served notices to the owners of multi-storey buildings who have violated building by-laws and strict action will be taken soon. GDA Building Control Section is directed to complete the operation at shortest possible time.
