Other than landfills, where are these many thousands of tonnes of material going to go each year without the Beer Store’s recycling culture? Another issue that would need to be addressed is that the Beer Store is the only recycler of alcohol containers. Breaking the Beer Store agreement would probably require the negotiation of a new arrangement, and perhaps with another company whose locations might be less convenient than the Beer Store.
