The Essex County Library said on its website it would close all 14 branches "in order to fully assess the issues." The Essex County Library system, which serves several rural municipalities surrounding Windsor, said late Monday staff found bedbugs at its Leamington branch. Calls to The Essex County Library were not immediately returned. An entire public library system in southwestern Ontario has been closed down because of bedbugs. Leamington Deputy Mayor Hilda MacDonald said in on the library's Facebook page that bedbugs were "also in other branches, not just Leamington."
