Illinois police arrested a Quincy father Monday in connection with the death of his estranged wife, Rebecca Bliefnick, who was found dead inside her Quincy residence in February. On Monday, Quincy Police Chief Adam Yates said during a press statement that 39-year-old Timothy W. Bliefnick, of Quincy, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder for the killing of Rebecca, 41. “At 8:24 this morning, Quincy Police Department detectives and members of the department’s emergency response team arrested 39-year-old Timothy W. Bliefnick, of Quincy, for a no-bond warrant on two counts of first-degree murder and home invasion for the murder of Rebecca Bliefnick,” Yates said.
