A pair of beavers caused a bit of a stir when they wandered onto a staircase at the Ottawa International Airport Tuesday morning. Confused beavers at the #Ottawa airport pic.twitter.com/OLdsAb9n4n —@ShanksYaShe said security staff were keeping an eye on them. Krista Kealey of the Ottawa International Airport Authority said airport staff coaxed one of the beavers into a carrier and a wildlife expert managed to capture the second one. Kealey said she only knows of one other time when a beaver made its way onto airport property, when one burrowed under a fence and was quickly captured. The beavers' adventure caps off a month of unusual stories involving wild animals and transportation in Ottawa.
