Dr. Maria-Louisa Knobel was recently recognized as the recipient of the 2024 Nebraska Autism Spectrum Disorder Network Friend of Autism Award. Knobel has worked as a school psychologist for Beatrice Public Schools for 25 years. Student Programs Director Beth Cordry-Hookstra said Knobel embodies the essence of a true champion for students. “Knobel is persistently striving to unlock our students’ full potential and create a supportive environment for their growth and development,” she said. Her outstanding contributions make her deserving of the 2024 Friend of Autism Award.”Cordry-Hookstra said Knobel was instrumental in implementing various programs.
