Photos show the swastika and words were spray-painted on playground equipment in the Brooklyn Heights neighbourhood. The city named the park for the late rapper, who was Jewish, in 2013. Beastie Boys' singer Adam Yauch, 47, died in May of 2012, after a fight with cancer.
