Share TweetBy Analou de VeraThe Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) has advised aspiring overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) against foreign language training centers that promise guaranteed employment upon completion of the language course. The POEA issued the warning amid some language training centers’ posting of advertisements on supposed jobs in Korea, Japan, and Germany to entice jobseekers to enroll. Those who passed the Korean language test must also hurdle the skills test and selection by a Korean employer,” the POEA noted. The POEA further stated that Germany’s Triple Win Project has been recruiting Filipino nurses, who have prior knowledge of the German language or is willing to undergo German language training to attain B1 language proficiency level.
