THE executive governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde has urged the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members deployed to the state to be patriotic and selfless in their activities. Seyi Makinde, who was represented by the deputy governor of Oyo State, Engr Rauf Olaniyan said the clarion call is to contribute their quota to the national development and Oyo State. He also said, “The Oyo State government is determined to make a huge investment in youths. The Oyo State NYSC coordinator, Eniola Ambekemo, in her welcome address said a total number of 2390 corps members were deployed to the state, which comprises 1130 males and 1260 females. She implored the corps members to embrace the Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) and also embrace each other’s culture especially the culture of their host communities.
