NEWLY elevated elders of The Church of the Lord (Prayer Fellowship) Worldwide have been enjoined to allow Jesus Christ be their role model. The elders’ other duties, Ositelu said, included ensuring the church is united, the elders’ names remain untainted, they endure patiently and persevere. He said the laities were elevated because they were found worthy. He also urged the congregation to assist the ordinands in their good work of serving and doing the will of God. In all, 25 reverends, 50 pastors, 75 evangelists, 60 deacons, 90 deaconesses, 50 exemplary male elders and 100 exemplary female elders were elevated and anointed.
