He requested the public to avoid large gatherings, private functions and religious events. “We urge the people not to attend these events unless absolutely necessary. If and when you attend, strictly follow health guidelines,” he said. He also warned the people to avoid coming into contact with tourists though they could be spending the time in the country inside a bio safety bubble.
