The tour which is his first since he assumed office will afford him the opportunity to tour most parts of the region and also visit his hometown. A correspondence from government on the tour said the Vice President will first pay a courtesy call on the Regent of Dagbon, Kampakuya-Na Andani Yakubu Abdulai from the Tamale Airport. On Friday, Day 2, the Vice President will pay a courtesy on selected Chiefs within the Tamale metropolis and some Zongo Chiefs. He will climax his four-day tour of the region on Sunday, where he will visit Walewale, his hometown and meet with some family elders and party leaders in the Walewale township.
