Over 15,500 bottles of country- made liquor have been seized till date and three persons arrested in the run up to the Bawana Assembly bypolls, the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Delhi today said. Besides 15,541 country-made liquor bottles, 1,553 bottles of Indian-made foreign liquor (IMFL) have also been seized, he said. "Three vehicles have been seized and as many FIRs lodged as well in this connection," the CEO Office said in a statement. One unlicensed weapon has also been seized and a person arrested, it said, adding an FIR has been lodged. The by-election to the Bawana Assembly seat in north- west Delhi is slated to be held on August 23.
