Publisher Bauer will launch a free, weekly magazine next month targeting Auckland hipsters. It is also understood Bauer's glossy Metro magazine is going from monthly to bi-monthly, and that long-time editor and now editor-in-chief Simon Wilson has been made redundant. Bauer commercial manager Paul Gardiner said he could not comment, and Wilson was also unable to comment. Gardiner said Bauer was planning a print run of 100,000 for Paperboy, with its first edition on November 3.
