Credit Suisse found that Johnson Matthey’s high-energy Elno technology could improve the performance of Tesla’s Model S and added that may be “the next leading battery material for electric cars”. Elno “has the potential for best-in-class performance”, the broker told clients, adding that the risks surrounding its commercialisation were low.
