It seems that our nostalgia for the simpler times has brought us back to the classic WW2 setting with Battalion 1944. This game was kick-started in 2016 where it raised £317,281 showing there is still a lot of interest for classic shooters. Another thing that may bother you is there is currently a lot of bunny hopping making people harder to shoot, but to be honest that just reminded me a lot of the games Battalion is based upon.
