Dalton Pompey, on the bubble and out of options with the Blue Jays, is hitting .282 this spring. Pompey suffered concussions in June 2016, while playing for the Buffalo Bisons, and while representing Canada at the World Baseball Classic the following spring. If Pompey starts the season on the injured list, it could delay the Jays’ decision on his future. Pompey has slashed .282/.282/.436 for a .718 OPS in 14 spring games, with a home run and seven RBIs.
