SIMON MAUDE/FAIRFAX NZ Two police officers were assaulted by the passenger of a car in Paki St. One of the officers, who is set to marry in 10 days' time, was left with serious facial injuries after an "unprovoked attack", Western Waikato Area Commander Inspector Naila Hassan said. On Paki St the car pulled into a driveway and the officers approached the car where they began speaking with the driver.
