Baseball’s free agent market may not move as swiftly as it used to, but it moves. The vast majority of other free agents have signed too, though you wouldn’t know it from the narrative out there. According to data listed on MLB.com, there were 229 free agents that hit the market this winter. And 19 of the 53 remaining free agents are relief pitchers, all of them but Craig Kimbrel quite underwhelming. The free agent market is just that – a market.
