Arrieta, who leads the majors with a 1.29 ERA, allowed four hits, struck out eight and walked one in seven innings. They pulled away with seven runs over the last two innings and have won nine of 10 road series openers dating to last September. Kluber (3-5) allowed a run in each of the first two innings, but gave up just one hit over the next five.
