KUCHING: A day after quitting PKR, Baru Bian has reaffirmed his "100% support" for Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad as prime minister. The Selangau MP was among 11 federal lawmakers, including sacked PKR deputy president Datuk Seri Azmin Ali, who left the party on Monday (Feb 24). "I am happy to note that those who had been calling for Dr Mahathir’s resignation have done a U-turn and are now in tune with our call. This vindication proves our stand has been correct all along," Baru said in a statement on Tuesday (Feb 25). Our track record of fighting for the poor and marginalised is clear," Baru said.
