8 hours agoBaringo South MP Grace Kipchoim has died after a long illness. Grace Kipchoim passed away this morning at a Nairobi hospital where she had been admitted for cancer treatment. Despite being unwell throughout the campaign period, Grace Kipchoim was re-elected as Baringo South MP in a highly contested election. The legislator, who is from the minority Endorois community garnered 9,299 votes against her closest competitor Charles Kamuren’s. Kipchoim was serving her second term.
