MANILA, Philippines — The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country has risen to 69,898, with barely two weeks before the month of July ends. Four additional deaths were also reported, bringing the total to 1,835, while 607 recoveries were added, totaling to 23,072 recovered patients. “As of the most current week, there is an average of 2,000 cases per day in the Philippines, an increase of almost 50% from the previous week,” read an excerpt from the study.
