Rodrigo to BarcelonaBarcelona are set to announce the signing of Valencia forward Rodrigo. That’s according to Spanish newspaper Marca, who claim a deal is ‘all but done’ for the 28-year-old striker. Valencia president Anil Murthy and agent Jorge Mendes are both in Barcelona today thrashing out the final details of the transfer. Marca claim the sticking point in the deal is Valencia’s £50.7million valuation that Barcelona would like reduced by £8.5m. It’s thought Quique Setien’s side will offer youngsters Moussa Wague and Monchu to tempt their La Liga rivals into accepting a reduced fee.
