Barcelona had been toying with the idea of selling Ousmane Dembele after links with a stunning deal to secure the return of Brazil international Neymar. Neymar joined PSG from Barca in 2016 after four impressive seasons in Spain. The forward forced a move to France with the hope of guiding PSG to a Champions League title but has failed to do so in his two seasons at the Parc des Princes. Rumours of a spectacular return to the Nou Camp have now been quashed, which in turn has seems to have ruled out any chance of Dembele moving to Anfield.
