Former US President Barack Obama is likely to meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi today, more than a year after he left office after an eight-year term as America's chief executive. Obama is in the capital for a town hall hosted by the foundation he runs with his wife, former First Lady Michelle Obama. @BarackObama is hosting a Town Hall with young people in India about what it means to be an active citizen. "Prime Minister Modi recognizes that more than 1 billion Indians living and succeeding together can be an inspiring model for the world," Obama wrote. In 2015, Barack Obama became the first US President to attend India's Republic Day parade as a chief guest.
