Last summer I had a party in France, and one of my guests brought her friend, Dominique Crenn. In 2011, she opened Atelier Crenn in San Francisco, and was awarded two Michelin stars, making her the first female chef to receive two stars in the United States. The 12 courses at Atelier Crenn are predominantly fish, which brings to mind the shores of Brittany and the abundant seafood to be found there. On our return, we had our Board Dinner at Atelier Crenn, which is Dominique’s flagship restaurant. In addition, Atelier Crenn is more than just a restaurant.
