Thanks to record snowfalls in some parts of the country, ski resorts are gearing up for one of their best spring ski seasons in years. What’s more, the majority of ski resorts add an array of festive activities to their spring skiing menu, such as sloppy slalom races along with free concerts. Attracting celebrities and dignitaries to its slopes, Sun Valley Resort is America’s first destination resort. Because of a banner snow year thus far, Winter Park Resort, Colorado, has extended its spring skiing season to mid May, incredible by anyone’s standards. However, this year’s spring skiing promises to extend the downhill fun well beyond the normal ski season.
