Last year, banks’ trust units maintained a significantly leaner cash and due from banks of P1.99 billion, 99.30 percent lower compared to the previous year’s P286.98 billion. Banks’ net financial assets declined by 15.89 percent to P1.27 trillion against the previous year’s P1.52 trillion.
