Banker brought in to future-proof big dairy business The bigger the farming business, the sharper its hunger for diverse skills. Andrea Fox Waikato's Kirkham Group recognised it needed extra skills in a growing family dairy business. There's another Kirkham dairy farm, Allen Oaks, about 5km away and another at Waiterimu near Huntly. Milk production for Fonterra from the Te Awamutu farms and the Waiterimu property totalled 1.22m kg last season. About 1.5 million kg of maize and 2.2 million kg of palm kernel was bought in for the three Te Awamutu dairy farms this season.
