For the committee’s 97th meeting and the last for this year, it is expected to review developments of Ghana’s economy and announce the monetary policy rate of the central bank. According to a statement issued by the central bank, the Monetary Policy Committee will conclude with a press conference on Monday, November 23, 2020 to announce the decision of the policy rate. At the central bank’s last meeting in September this year, it kept its monetary policy rate unchanged at 14.5 percent. Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta, on the hand has projected economic growth for Ghana is projected to rebound strongly at 5.7 percent in 2021.
