Customers of a number of banks are experiencing delays in their social welfare payments this morning due to "industry-wide" payment issues. According to the Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection, the issue is affecting a number of different banks. Ulster Bank posted a statement to customers on Twitter, saying they are aware of the issue which has delayed credits being applied to Irish bank accounts.
