A Bangladeshi man died after he was kicked in the genitals for demanding his winnings over a bet on an Indian Premier League Twenty20 tournament match. “He bet only Tk50 with some locals over an IPL match on May 2. He won the bet but others refused to pay him the money, which led to a scuffle. “During the melee, Santosh was kicked in the genitals by Nuruzzaman, 17,” said Rafiqul Islam, officer-in-charge of Lalmonirhat sadar police station. IPL is a popular event in Bangladesh, broadcast live by a local television station.
