The IoT-enabled software will allow the user to access, manage and troubleshoot the system from anywhere across the globe by only using a smartphone. The Internet of Things (IoT) is a system of interrelated computing devices, mechanical and digital machines, objects, animals or people that are provided with unique identifiers and the ability to transfer data over a network without requiring human-to-human or human-to-computer interaction. According to their website, the entire operational ecosystem of Hitachi is built as an IoT platform so that millions of devices can be plugged in to be a part of the network. This means that options are open for air-conditioning systems of multiple networks of apartments and neighbourhoods to get integrated and be managed through an app, which was developed by DataSoft in this case.
