Under the award, Bangladesh Bank, Daffodil International University and JobsBD have been recognised for their sustainable and innovative financial inclusion and financial education initiatives. Deputy Governor SK Sur Chowdhury received the award for Bangladesh Bank at a ceremony in Berlin on Wednesday, the central bank said in a statement. Child & Youth Finance International and the German G20 Presidency/German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development jointly gave the award. The award that comes every year recognises and honours those that achieve greatness and demonstrate innovation in financial, social and livelihoods education, financial inclusion, and entrepreneurial support for children and youth at the national, regional and international level.
