Bangladesh are on course for a big total though Afghanistan sent back two half-centurions in Tamim Iqbal and Mahmudullah in the first ODI. Two overs before that, Afghanistan removed Imrul Kayes (37) to break his 83-run partnership with Tamim Iqbal. Earlier, Tamim and Imrul gave Bangladesh a brisk start after they had lost opener Soumya Sarkar for a duck. After skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza elected to bat first, Bangladesh lost their opener Soumya for a duck in the fourth delivery first over. Afghanistan brought in for international debut teenage seamer Naveen-ul-Haq, who has played in the Under-19 World Cup in Bangladesh earlier this year.
