Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen made the request when he called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Thursday, the Bangladesh High Commission said. Modi mentioned that “the partnership between Bangladesh and India is flourishing under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina”. The foreign minister also called on former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Deputy Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Anand Sharma.
